I think that Consuelo Catiglioni, founder and soul of Marni, one of the most famous Italian brand to the world, is fantastic! In every creation, there is attention to the particular ones, but also innovation. I love its accessories, particularly the shoes, and its sweaters in cashmere, where the ethnic chic taste melts to the good hides and fabrics!

Collection of Marni is so wearable this time. It speaks for itself. Beautiful prints,
Now the collaboration of Marni for H&M. will this label be recognized by the mainstream??
it was a great collection, the prints and textures really accentuated the clean cuts of the clothes. Trust Milan to showcase innovative, forward thinking designers! =]
I don’t know why but Marni is perhaps the only brand that I don’t have ANY emotions to. Since I shop with and for my clients I visit all these boutiques quite often.
Of course they have pretty pieces but the whole story behind the brand is just kind of missing…
I have to say the first two outfits are my preferred choices. However, the shoes are simply stunning! Marni just delivers such a fabulous balance of colour and texture!
Not a fan of this show. Mod just doesn’t seem current to me. Somebody always has to start the trend again, though… http://www.one-daysome-day.tumblr.com

Those SHOES…!
I love the contrast of the white tight with the metallic ankle straps. Makes white tights less nun, more glamour.

White legs on the catwalk… McQueen did this (… in the Scottish collection?) They look great, but in the street? I don’t think so, somehow.

What a relief….a collection that I have no desire, whatsoever, to wear. Color and texture aside, it’s hideous.
