Agreed,
This collection is beautiful! The finale especially reminded me of optical illusions.
I also like the hair the girls have. http://untrucoudeux.wordpress.com/
Awesome pics!!! I really love the fashion and design of those collection; looks so sexy and gives them a comfortable figure! They are actually hot and congratulations for such a great and respect showing dresses!
OMG!!! I just like the design of Marc Jacobs, however this collection was magnificent!!! All my points!! PD: This is teh first time I write you, I love you work. Keep doing it!!! ^^
The use of prints and shapes is a big reference to Prada’s collections we saw last year in Milan., although MJ is using black & white shades instead of colors. Also the styling of the girls mirrors Prada’s.
I don’t know what to make of this…
I have been stalking Style.com waiting for MJ’s show to be covered! I absolutely love this latest collection – only Marc can turn black and white into something incredibly vivid and fresh. The shoes are killer too! Much love from a fashion editor and blogger from SHANGHAI! http://www.shanghaistylefile.com
Oooo! Those shoes and the skirt in the 4th picture and that column dress with the gradually wider stripes in the center of the last pic! LOVE! What a wonderful collection!
True design, pattern, geometry, shape. Jacobs really showing off his genius with this collection. Retro yet modern. Love all the contrasting black & white and the stripes, stripes, stripes. Also love the low waisted, full, just-below-the-knee skirts. Reminds me of Prada in the 90′s. How lucky we are to have him sharing his creative mind and spirit! Love!!! http://branchandroot.blogspot.com

i’m just not sure, the geometric shapes make the models look wide of hip and the hem length paired with flats do nothing for their legs – so how will the rest of us look?
This is fabulous. The silhouettes are elegantly comfortable but the patterns are almost futuristic…or surrealistic. They look like a piece of art all standing together at the end.
At first, I was a little underwhelmed by Marcs collection but I was looking at flat front photos from Style.com. Now that I’ve seen yours, Scott, I feel like I’ve seen the collection in a whole new light! Garance mentioned this in a recent PMF episode. Seeing the clothes “3-d” is so important and can be lost in a lot of digital photos.
