Why does fashion have to move forward when backward is so good! I much prefer these clothes instead of Mary Kantranzou’s unflattering ‘works of art’… Don’t fix something that ain’t broke.
Images from this show will become future icons of culture and significance! What a masterpeice Marc has created; those demure menswear fabrics with a touch of magic glitter at the hems. The accessories are perfect also, particularly the bags. I also love the way each room is decorated and has the occupants trunks waiting inside, so enchanting.
Then there is the man himself; dressed in the “Hells Garden” print pajamas, I need a set too!
I hadn’t seen this view of MJ w/his PJ’s….thanks for sharing!!…most of the collection was really quite impressive and inspiring, lovely mid tone colours–mix of tailoring and feminine trimming….
Beautiful collection, classic and chic with amazing details. The last photo makes me laugh, Marc Jacobs gets away with everything. Even a “just came out of bed” look!
Oh, I’m still not back from that fantasy. The dark corridors of a hotel in the 20′s and the secrets behind those doors!
The music made it all the more sublime and cinematographic.
And then Jacobs in the pajamas…What a wonderful show!
Talk about a surprise! He fits right into the scene in an unexpected way_which completely threw me off at first glance, but remains inventive and alluring all together!
Some beautiful pieces, great styling, amazing set but too much furs for me. I can’t even look at the bag, and honestly, a fur bag is something very impractical.

Very 1920s, no? Beautiful work but seems to look backward.

I love that we can actually see the suitcases behind the doors. This show looks like a continuation of the travelling theme from FW’12-13 collection.
