Congratulations, very nice video and lovely selection of pictures. Have you ever been to Luxembourg? Regardless of the background, I think your pictures look quite different from one city to another, a very different “tone” emanates depending on the city. And I would be curious to see what the result would look like for Luxembourg.
This video gave me thrills, I love the epic sense it conveys. Your tone of voice is very documentary like and it pushes you into your world in just 2mn 48.
Thank you. But we want more !
I love seeing these videos expressing yourself because you come across the way I imagine you to be. You seem very confident in knowing what want to capture and I think that your style of portrait photography is one to be emulated for years to come.
Ohh so annoying! I just checked the date of the exhibition as I am in Madrid for the moment but I won’t be anymore when it starts… :(
You should do one in Milan!!
Yeah, thank you for your work. I love your pictures, I always feel the spontaneity of the look and the movement. I would be very happy one day to meet you in a street in Paris. :)
Love it when you feature Madrid! It’s always nice to see one of my three homes! Great little video with wonderful insight! Wish I was there now to see the exhibit :)
I am a big fan of yours, Mr. Shuman. I hate it when you show elegant women using fur, but I understand that your job is to be as most impartial as possible. And you get it in the most humane and generous and artistic way. That’s why I’m your fan. You are really a GREAT photographer!!! Congratulations, my dear!
Love your blog and the video. The brunette with the ombre highlights in her long hair – where is the photo that you eventually took of her? I want to see her full look…
I would love to see your exhibit Scott. I just might have enough to time on my next commission.
I am such a fan, I will definitely try.
So, you were feeling a bit left and jealous Garance was being photographed by a VIP and you were not, but you get a show instead. It all evens out when every joy is shared.
That’s amazing! Congratulations — this is going to be such an amazing exhibit. I really wish I could see it, but luckily I can see you work every day on your blog :)
I’m so in love with the brand, and I like your work very much, so I’m thrilled by this piece of work.
Also, I’ve always wished to be featured in one of your pictures, but no luck yet! at least I got to meet you last year at the Movistar event…
I enjoy seeing those little snippets of you interacting with your subjects, especially that very short moment when you get off your bike and approach the girl walking by.
Made my day. Heading to spain and germany for exchange from New Zealand – just realised I’ll be able to visit this. So excited. I love your work, it’ll be amazing to see the printed pictures.
Hello Scott
I really like your photos, your confidence on street and your style. When I found “The Sartorialist” I immediately fall in love so much that I startet my own site :) I’m very greatful for that.
Would love to see the show of photos, but when the number of blogger self-promotion spots outnumbers real comments it feels like a movie where the product placement gets in the way of the plot.
Amazing!!love the video!what you do is so unique and inspiring!Makes you go out and enjoy what you have!Life is a gift and the best thing we can do is LIVE our lives to the fullest and see every aspect of that!
There are days that I feel I can’t get out of my cocoon & live, such days I spend sometime looking at your blog, your beautiful pictures transport me to a place where these amazing people have made an effort to get out,be seen, & live. This inspires me greatly and like magic I am out and about.
