On the Street…via Savona, Milan

91914Mis6B3159WebWhat I love about this look is that in theory it shouldn’t work-but in actuality it just does.

Even her hair works perfectly in the blend of colours. I’m curious about the knees to feet, but I trust such a vantage point may not have been accessible. The textures, patterns and layers are just that bit left of centre to give surprise. I regret seeing the cig but still, this is a beautiful face with a serene expression.
      Definitely a favourite.

Great look, love the short jacket on the long cardigan, it is the opposite of what people do usually, and I love when people are Original :)

I can’t agree that this works. I am getting use to unusual pieces being put together and finding them interesting at worse and daring at best. I don’t see the beauty in this. My first thought – She just grabbed what was closest to her and put it on. Doesn’t do it for me.

Just me, or is this a Chloe Sevigny separated-at-birth moment? I agree – shouldn’t work, but she is pulling it of. Not sure many could. What’s on her feet?

    Very Chloë Sevigny.

The horizontal stripes in grey-black in the vest and in the shirt match. The camelcolour in the vest match the kaki trousers and the blondish colour in her hair. It is a wonderful ensemble. And she isa beautiful young woman. Compliments.

She looks a little bag lady and homeless. The texture and color scheme are nice with warm earth tones and neutrals, but did she have to wear everything in her closet? Chic or dumpy house wife ? you pick!

    No it doesn’t work.

Yet another example that the key to fashion is being born beautiful.

She is so beautiful anything would work, but I think it works because it is consistent, comfortable and appropriate to fall temperatures and getting around town. She also does not look like everybody else, that is always a breath of fresh air.

Gorgeous woman. Just because a woman likes a bit of drape and isn’t showing her assets doesn’t make her a bag lady or a frumpy housewife. No wait, she is showing her assets–class, intelligence, style. Beautiful.

Not so sure about the look – here in Berlin we see so much layering it gets a bit old – but I totally like your comment. Thanks for calling those other assets to memory :)

As you mention, the pieces are quite hard to match together, but she’s pulling it off with an air of effortlessness and coolness.

That jacket would work with anything, and she is lovely. You can tell that this look is just “her” and you can tell that she is cool.
