These are the photos I referred to my in my compliments to you in referencing the ever beautiful Ali McGraw where I posted “They’re all so natural, so clean, so beautiful and unaffected. Reminiscent of watching Ali McGraw walk down the beach while in my teens. Pure beauty, grace and style. All of the above photos today. Thank you for sharing these. “
I have never met a plaid I haven’t loved. It’s so versatile…works great for summer with madras and even gingham, and also for winter with tartans. Your captured options are great. I particularly love the woman with the bicycle. Her shift is perfectly proportioned and has a lovely color combination. Great selection!
Plaid – be still my aorta. I love this stuff. I made flannel plaid pajama pants for one brother at Christmas that ended up being worn by another bro. I only wish I had bought more – I had visions of a yoked cowboy shirt with contrast piping. And it was such a great plaid – a cheery turquoise, pink and white combo. Maybe it’s still in the Vogue Fabrics warehouse. I have a swatch I can bring to the store and they can check to see if they still have it. Otherwise, there are cotton blends in the main Evanstore that I have my eye on…As for this photo spread, I really like the simple shift with the neon sneakers. Clever, stylish, eye-catching.
I love this website. It shows so much about fashion. I love how it expresses how things that some would find odd could be made perfect with confidence. The outfits in this are out of the box and crazy and I love how it shows that with confidence you can pull it off.
I noticed too the aviators and the plaid. Somehow works together well. Since this is a site that says, If you’re thinking about plaid, and these are good ex. of how to wear it, I assume the aviators are part of the package. Also, bare legs, because otherwise they look like lumberjacks.
