Bottom right is definitely my favorite. A man who thinks about his style, puts effort into what he wears and how he is perceived, but still seems so personable, laid-back, and lovely. Great photos.
Love it. As a kid I used to wear something like this with a metal ring instead of the knot. Haven’t quite figured it out as an adult. Thanks for the prompt.
Wonderful! These guys look super stylish. Please do one for women so we can see how to wear a neck scarf without looking ridiculous (i have too many unused and stored in my wardrobe)!
RIGHT ON. Love all these looks. my FAVE is the top left corner. Not only a great neck kerchief, but those shorts – AND he can TOTALLY pull he entire look off. FAB!
I think you need a really strong personality to wear one of this and look cool in the process! They always make me remember the old neighbor my grandma used to have, he had damaged cords and because of some scars caused by many surgeries he used to wear one of those neckerchiefs and his hole style was perfect! He looked like an old super inspiring painter with beige and grey clothes and the neckerchief would always be red or blue, or maybe yellow. And despise all he had went through, he always had a great smile and always said hi to us with the most cheerful face ever, therefore this neckerchiefs always bring me such good memories of such good people!
You raise a great point. For men’s accessories, in particular, I’ve always admired those who started with function and found a way to derive style after the fact. It makes the look a bit more charming and organic. And often, there are great stories that arise from these moments…rather than the simplicity of someone adding a neckerchief or bracelet because it made the outfit cute – which is just as fair!
The outfit with blue blazer & white jeans are amazing!.
I’m waiting the summer for bring such combination. http://suitsandshirts.blogspot.com.es/
Thanks
Love all kind of scarfs on men, specially neckerchiefs!
you really need a great styleand ¨class¨ to know how to wear it, like my friend Keino Benjamin with the red neckerchief and the denim shirt.
As someone has said, neckerchiefs are so retro they can need some courage to make work. However, they are useful, keeping your neck warm and shirt collar clean. Coincidentally, I’ve been wearing one this week with a chunky Norwegian jumper to try to keep warm in a chilly London winter.

I can’t help but fall for this … as long as it’s not too prim. I’m a sucker for rough + polished.
The gentleman doyen nails it,
right color + proportion + sincerity.

I like the blue blazer, collarless shirt, and use of the neckerchief as replacement for the collar. Elegant. Wouldn’t have thought of it. Now I will.

I love wearing ties! But on a casual day, the neckerchief adds that bit of “zing”. And it can cover a “multitude of sins”.
