My first pre-fall purchase was a boiler-come-jump suit. It’s definitely one of the most interesting silhouettes coming out of the current menswear collections! Innovative, at least.
Cute…. I am giving up all thoughts of jump suits though the cute gal in the upper left could easily succeed at opening a home painting business, in my opinion of course. I also like that the guy in the upper right appears very confident though he might be an alien who has landed on earth and is trying to disguise himself. : )
You mean the girl who’s wearing her PJ’s in public with a coat thrown on top?She looks like she got an emergency call from the hospital and jumped out of bed to rush there. :)
I think they all look pretty great in their own way. The guy definitely looks good, and the woman in the bottom left looks perfect. The others are a bit odd, but with a great vibe. I can see thinking you wouldn’t wear this..but why “laundry day”? I figure anyone that bought one would be sure to wear it. Its not an in between type of thing.
Really? I think it’s possible to look good in a jumpsuit. Possible but difficult. But these all read a bit too mechanic. Or pajamas. Sorry, can’t get behind this one.
The guy in the orange burnt jumpsuit looks fab. And I hope that this time and with the help of the Givenchy Men’s collection the closets of men evolve.
I agree with your disagree. This look screams”emperors new clothes”. Simply because someone wears it, and we see a picture of them wearing it doesn’t hide the fact that a jumpsuit (or anything fugly) only works as a way to say to the world “I am so good looking I can wear a sack. Or jodhpur skorts.”
These bring back horrible memories of my Dad and his buddies in their blue jumpsuits from the early 1970′s. Double knit, polyester leisure suits next? Please say no!
I don’t like to wear jumpsuits, although I like them when they’re tailored and polished – like the navy one here. But I think they’re faddish, in general, and were done to death a while back.
I wish I wasn’t but now I AM thinking about jumpsuits and it’s oddly amusing and disturbing at the same time. Mechanic-chic…pajama-chic…frumpy-chic…just not-chic…
Can’t decide if I like the guy more, or the woman in the bottom left. I like the menswear look. I like the menswear inspired look with heels too. Im def into it, even though to be fair its a drag to go to the can. Meh. So what.
Is everyone kidding? A jumpsuit can be ultra flattering!
It’s no different than dressing monochromatically.
It makes you look taller and thinner. It’s one piece so it’s easy…well, except for the above mentioned fully undressing for the washroom issue.

Yes, yes, I’m totally thinking about jumpsuits, and I just tried on that beautiful tuxedo jumpsuit at Margiella last week which I would have happily bought if it weren’t equal to a week’s salary. Draped perfectly.
right on! can’t wait to see warm spring so i can bring my jumpsuit out… was totally planning to do it. it’s always hard to find a matching shoes, tho. high-top converse? a pair of saddle brogues? anyone with some sparkling ideas?
Seriously though, I do love a jumpsuit or playsuit. So effortless. The lady in the ankle boots looks great. Personally I think white is a bit risky, bordering on overalls territory, but hey that’s only my opinion :-)
I LOVE JUMPSUITS! I own 4 and they’re all different styles. Definitely my go to outfits. Those men rockin’ the jumpsuits make me smile…I think it made my day actually :-D
I find jumpsuits really classy when done the right way. I like them monochrome, and with statements accessories like a great necklace or a colorful clutch with a black jumpsuit. Sadly, they do not fit my short legs :(
It does depend on your body shape to how much selection you have in choosing a jumpsuit, but i do believe that every woman can look good in a jumpsuit. it depends on how much you want to search. i love jumpsuits and rompers and own several of each. i have casual to evening wear but the best thing about jumpsuit is you can dress them up or down so easy depending on the look you are after. i actually love the mens jumpsuit above but am suprised that people think its something new. There have been mens jumpsuits for as long as womens and yes it depends on colour, style and fabric to if its pushing the crossdressing boundries but i have seen some very
smart mens jumpsuits and have even envy some. i have seen wide leg ones and even palazzo ones that looked amazing. not every item of clothing is everyones cup of tea but there are so many that are unisexed but people just dont know because they are not looking for that item. at my work its a corporate attire enviroment and i know of at least 2 guys that wear them to work and it looks great. its the same as sometimes i might add a tie to an outfit or that very often i add suspenders to a pair of wide leg pants and there are about 70% of females that i work with that do
the same weekly. so its not uncommon to see gender bending with outfits. that i have seen. i have seen
I’m so bored with dresses, but I want to look like I’ve made an effort, so jumpsuits are great for me. Michael Kors ones are too expensive really, but I think they are the best.
Phase Eight do good jumpsuits, but usually the very wide legs are irritating when you are walking thru the city.
Its important that the jumpsuit is made of material that has a stretch to it, otherwise its not a comfortable option.
As for what happens when you go to the loo…. well… is it really worse than the dress/tights/high heels scenario? Nope.
