The Great Gatsby meets colonial extravaganza. Superb … and so theatrical. Love it.

The man in white linen looks like a particular necktie designer for Polo Ralph Lauren.

The men’s brown dress boots in the shoe closeup look like the Madison model by Stacy-Adams, which has not changed in about a century. I love them.

These are really great! The bird hat is so imaginative and interesting, and I love the photo of the dancing feet. Amazing job, Sart! I can’t wait to see the rest of these.

Wow! It helps me imagine what a party in the Great Gatsby would be like. Bird’s nest hat, and her glasses are so wonderful.

That’s why we miss your photos. The hat with the nests! The picnic basket and le cannotier! AND the shoes for connoisseurs: the black suede and the brown leather boots! Lovely.

This looks like so much fun! I am envious, Sart! I often wonder why certain silhouettes are in style at one time and not another – and then they come back again. Is it random or a reaction to something else in the world or just peoples desire for something different? Can’t wait to see more photos.

Regarding the man in the linen suit – while the tie just pops off the suit (which is also a great choice), I felt it was ruined by the wrinkles and Doc Oc glasses. Did he get into a tussle rolling down a hill with the infamous villain?

I saw the same woman with the bird nest hat today at the BBQ Block Party–she was wearing the same great shoes and just looked fantastic!

I hate to sound like I’m being mean, but frankly, the fellow below, “the Park Avenuer,” seems vastly more camp than any of these folks. These folks just look good to me.

OMG, I love the photos! They are absolutely amazing. Photos #2 (shoes), #4 (hat and glasses) and #5 (picnic) are so editorial. They could easily be for Vogue or Martha Stewart. Brilliantly done, Sart.

That linen suit is very transcendent- makes for a great 20′s party ensemble yet could be thrown into any Spring catalog today and it would sell- I am curious if it is vintage or something contemporary. My guess is the latter, but still.

Beautiful! I have had this weird strawboater fetish ever since I first saw Peter Lawford in “Easter Parade” when I was a kid.

You know what, Sart? I’ve had an unusual reaction to these pix.

    Pure unadulterated jealousy.

My lovely little desert redoubt seems not so much fun anymore.

That hat is to die for wonderful (as all things red are), but not very 20s. Wished she had saved it for the right outfit and occasion! Although something so beautiful would be hard for anyone to sit on.
