Sart’s photography is about, inter alia, fashion. I am, however, drawn into the subjects’ lives more often than not (even Yoseminite Sam and Nonna, especially Nonna). The subjects on the bike represent a marked departure from Sart’s “fashion focus” to pure study of people’s lives: human existance, if you will. This photo, this space in time, provokes thought and passion. Difficult to quantify the interpretations: this is good.
While your portraits and fashion photography has developed wonderfully over the last couple of years, your shooting on the fly hasn’t. This is a dreadful, messy shot. Poor composition. Nothing inspiring or evocative.
