Actually the line is mostly drawn in the sand by prudes and killjoys. Get joy anywhere you can. That includes looking at beauty in others, and pride in your own beauty. Somehow I think he looks good in clothing too. I envy the person that gets to see him both ways( in a polite way of course).
Ha, I love how all the commentors who were totally slamming the bikini post are drooling over this one. (sexist much?) I say more please to both posts! Style and fashion are not the same thing, and if your goal is to photograph everyday people who have real, personal style, you definitely succeed at that. In fact, I’m surprised people aren’t more into this as opposed to the more ‘posed’ street photos. Both are certainly valid, but this seems more authentic. They didn’t get dressed up for this photo, they just got dressed up for life.
Anyway, to the second photo- WOW! I am in awe of how high this guy can get his foot into the air. What a cool sport. With this and the girl in the blue caftan, now I’m dying to go to Rio!
That is so true! Everyone was hiding their complaints behind the fact that it was not a particularly “sartorial” shot, yet now they’re commenting that its good because its “balancing things out” and making it “even”, even though their initial complaints weren’t about the display of attractive half-dressed women at all. They clearly didn’t want to look petty and bitchy even though the comments were actually to do with their own jealousy rather than some extreme devotion to style.
