Fashion Week Wardrobe, Day 1

Uniqlo is killing it with their pants this season. ¬†Finally, someone is cutting slim pants ($50-60) with the right proportions (at least for me). ¬†I would put a link to these exact pants on their website, but their site is so frustrating. I can’t even find them on there.

I also really love the Save Khaki tee shirts¬†($40)¬†. ¬†The cut is great, but they offer an extremely limited color palette. ¬†I’d buy more, but I can only buy so many dust pale blue tees in one season.

UPDATE: I found the link to the Uniqlo pants!

Gorgeous color shirt but as a shoe gal, I feel deprived that we are unable to see the footwear of choice….

Some shops are an offense to men in the limited variations they offer. Why do women have all the choice in the world and men only have the options blue and grey for instance? The same goes for the cut.

Is there a name for the Uniqlo pants? Their flat chinos in slim cut? Or their leggings?

Uniqlo is one of the best! Discovered it only a year ago and have been hooked since. One flaw is the one you mentioned…their site is horrific. Still, their prices and designs keep pulling me in! Love seeing you sporting a brand like this. Enjoy fashion month!

Uniqlo is the best, I am so glad they are in NY now. I used to make a special point of going to London just to get their leggings. I agree their website def. needs work though.

I’ve been a big fan of Uniqlo pants for a while. Last seasons slim cut chinos for $39.99 were also a great choice. I agree, their website is so cluttered, you can’t find what you’re looking for.

Those pants are perfect. I beg you, put your assistant on the task of sorting through the website and link to them! Your build is so similar to my man’s and it is so difficult to find proper slim pants for him!

Would love to know which Uniqlo pants you are referring to. Anything that looks similar is not priced $50-60.

Good combination. I visited Save Kaki after a previous post of yours but the selection was poor. Same for James Perse, I like theirs T shirts but the color selection is limited . Good cut but very expensive.

As much as I love t-shirts, I have a hard time swallowing $40 for one. That’s coming from a guy that wears them more often than he should. But, when the fit is actually predictable (sometimes a rarity between two t-shirts–even the same brand) you roll with it.
I’m a fan of the clean, simple look. I wish my body type allowed me to wear it better.
    Good job.

All you ladies should know that Uniqulo also has some awesome leggings/slim fit pants for $20 ea! My wife bought a pair and liked them so much I was dispatched to get one in every color! Don’t know if it’s online or in store only

I think it’s a good color for the season and you are in NYC, which mean it’l be great to wear them with a good cut tee.

Looking buff Mr S! My favorite basic T shirt is Armani Exchange. Really light, soft cotton. 2 for $40 and they come in tons of colors.

Thanks for the tip mate! I hit a Uniqlo store in London on a business trip and picked up two pairs. Killed it indeed! Best fitting pairs of trousers I’ve had in years.
