The floral ornaments contribute a re-vitalization effect on the outfit. Also loved the vertical colorized patchwork style layering.

I really like some of the coats, and the long grey dress (next-to-last) is excellent. The bathmat skirts aren’t doing it for me, and I am very, very tired of short pants (though the brocade trousers are less tiresome than most). But on the whole the collection is interesting and made me think, and that’s pretty cool!

I have to agree with you on the gowns, they are absolutely stunning and I hope some of the more adventurous celebs out there choose them for red carpet events. I love the mannish tailoring combined with the femininity and sweetness of the feathers and embellishments. By the way… Feathers??? How unexpected for Dries, it’s lovely and new.

Most beautiful collection thus far during fashion weeks.
Wearable, beautiful, refined, grown-up clothing, that looks fun and serious at the same time. I would love to wear this collection now. It’s Celinelike, but gentler and more feminine. Nice. van Noten is really growing on me since last season.

These clothes are sumptuous and could make living in a Northern climate really desirable. A good example of how to use feathers so a girl doesn’t look silly.
