Okay, I can stop worrying about trousers too large on the leg and just enjoy from now on. The comment on the architecture is true. The photos are exceptional. My romance with Van Noten, via The Sartorialist, continues.

Somebody better tell MC Hammer that his 1980s pants are back in style.

Great show. I love the proportions and the use of military elements. See my illustration of one of my favorite looks…

The clothes are totally leverage by the set up. But still, they are just classic!

I love the scenery, but I’m not fan of the bagginess of the man’s suit.

I’m SO glad to see the baggy suits. I’m tired of seeing grown men who look like they’re wearing their 14-year-old brothers’ suits.

Ugh, the resurgence of the 90′s… This is such a terrible idea because it was such a crap decade for fashion (until, maybe, the late 90′s when everyone was designing for the future).

The 90′s had no idea where it was going, so it was all this post-modern remix of everything. Now we’re remixing the remix that was made up of samples to begin with. And now we get high end baggy suits. How oxymoronic does that sound? And how un-flattering is that silhouette going to look on, well, everyone?

I can only assume this (awful) trend is a reaction to the Thom Browne style that has been the norm for nearly a decade now. And while the Small Suit was cartoonish itself, a nearly tailored, FITTING pant/jacket/suit will always -I repeat, ALWAYS- look better than any goofy gimmick or trend that comes off of these runways.
