I really love the idea of this dotted, net top from the Julien David Fall/Winter 2013 show.

It could layer over almost anything (flannel shirt?) and help take that item/look to another level.

It actually almost feels more like an accessory than an item of clothing.

For the home sewers this seems like an easy add.

Interesting idea. I could see it styled with a t-shirt or even with something strapless. Part veil, part caplet, it’s interesting to see designers that come up with something “new” as opposed to reinterpreting what’s already out there. Besides, when something is as easy to do as this, the designer will sure have created a trend soon to be copied and imitated everywhere!

Surprising that nobody has thought of that before. YOu’re right about it being a great accessory somehow. And it does look easy to make.

I love the idea of adding this to off-the-rack dresses for semi-formal events! Everyone tends to dress similarly here in D.C., so this would be a really fun touch :).

Would be interesting to know how much they charge for a net top.. Does look good though.
