Did you see Garance’s post yesterday?
She ran into Sartorialist regular Michelle Jank on Sunday in Paris.
Actually, I saw Michelle too for just a brief moment – but absolutely did not recognize her. The last time I saw her was when I took the below photograph. Wow – talk about a chameleon!
I guess that’s one of the traits of highly creative people: an ambition to constantly evolve.

Great contrast! The face seems to me to tell the same story though, and I'm sort of thinking it's not all happy. The change might be a positive attempt to evolve, but the face makes me think she's running away or trying to be distracted. She's definitely a strong person though. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your work.

Minor quibble: I think the light makeup with the dominating black hair and dress is overwhelming. A touch of color to the lips and cheeks would've made her look livelier. This is a minor nitpick, though. She is quite beautiful and stylishly put together otherwise. It takes a lot of courage to reinvent yourself like that. It's nice to see somebody so in touch with their creative aspect.

Personally I don't find such radical changes very interesting. I love it when people have a very defined sense of personal style and stick to it throughout the years… Of course there's room for improvement and evolution, but the foundations are the same. But that's just me! She proves however that she's a very creative person!
