I love all of it..except the weird black shapes. I am not sure what I think of those. Perhaps I do like them. I just don’t know. But the other things are wonderful. So simple and covetable.
YUM! Colette is like a pretty box full of delicious treats! I love all the colours and textures, everything from the sequinned peices to those artsy origami jackets! I want to take my girlfriend here but I suspect I would walk out broke!
This row of dresses is making me breathless. What a picture! What a vision! Now I can say that I’m getting out of bed on the right side. Sighhhhh…. Someone please take me to Collette…. NOW!
Today I was down ‘n’ out for some reasons. I opened the PC with your blog, the colorful outfits softened my heart. Thank you ! Colors bring life… http://www.ottomandandy.com
Totally amazing! I love the colors, patterns and everything else in these photos. The espadrilles aren’t just for women, I just bought 4 pair of mens espadrilles for summer in bright colors.
Strange and wonderful combinations of textures, styles, and colors but these clothes are clearly for the wealthy, independent, but sexually ambivalent lady. These clothes would not exactly excite the male gaze but they look fun to wear.
i totaly understand that “out of place there”.its like a game i used to play called” use ur female intuition” when u have to make outfits grabbing items in total darkness.its fun and its nice..but thats all.my humble opinion is that look like 3-4 y o girls playing cuz each item by itself its more than ok.
Very creative and chic shop…I agree. There is something very sad about this first picture. Like clothes for the peasant gypsy kids that stand looking at you with their hands out waiting for a euro or two.
Would be more fun to bring some sunshine to the flowers….feels like we need a little Sophia Loren or something to sex it up a bit.
I don’t know what it is but if just feels negative….and it is pretty hard to make all that color negative.
A truly beautiful collection, but they are the sort of garments that a coat hanger cannot do them justice. They really need to be seen moving on the body, even more than most clothes.
(yes, I agree with others – I just don’t get ‘artwork’)

The third photo is no doubt their best look. Perhaps paired with those polka dot shoes.

I had been a couple of times at Colette. Felt so “out of place there”. A trick for the tourist and Fashion and Rock and Roll stars wannabees.

too matronly for my taste, and didn’t the grunge look happen 20 years ago?
