Aside from the 2 sweaters with lace T-shirts showing underneath at the hems, this strikes me as a well-intentioned concept–specifically, “comfy”–gone horribly wrong. The pieces generally don’t seem to drape or hang well, so they look clunky and unflattering and, ironically, uncomfortable.
In this case, sadly, the looks on the spectators’ faces say it all.
Great celebratory collection of everything CHLOE and feminine! Ms Waight-Keller has taken the aesthetic of the house in her stride. Particularly like the fourth picture (monochrome) and that quilted leather skirt, so appropriate for right now.
I love the way you’ve captured the movement so gracefully. Some of them almost look as though they’re floating along, with their hair breezing along with them. So beautiful, restrained… Wonderful. http://maddiesees.blogspot.co.nz
