It’s called the Barnes Foundation. Its founder, Dr. Barnes, stressed that it is most definitely NOT a museum, but a teaching facility for working people to study and learn about great art.

I have been so wrapped up in my relocation to Philly from Kansas that I have sorely neglected your blog. After the fact I read you were at the Barnes…my loss. I shall pay closer attention. I do hope the city of brotherly love was kind to you. Next time! Adieu.
