She was actually very happy to see me because someone had just recently shown her some of the photos I had taken of her during the shows and she was very happy with them. I’m sure we will be seeing more of Emmanuelle during the next round of shows.
I love how she was wearing the same pair of shoes in the 1st 3 pix, but cleverly giving it different takes with the change of clothes. Sart, were Pix #1 & 3 taken on the same day sans the trench coat??
also, as to her demeanor, i think she simply looks like someone who is frequently photographed but doesn’t think of herself as a celebrity. posing for the camera and smiling from ear to ear is not her thing, which is true of many journalists, and perhaps she feels a bit uncomfortable in spite of the fact that she knows and likes sart. she looks to me like she’s working and has her mind on that, which is also evident in the way she dresses.
She has this wonderful insoucient quality – combined with de luxe hipness. And long legs. When are you going to launch a magazine or a book Mr Sartorialist?
Sart, … another wonderful set of photos. Paris Vogue is obviously a fashion pinacle! But the last photo is a little dark. Is she in skinny jeans and ankle boots? … and I don’t see the “I’m bored” attitude that maria sensed. I think her attitude is just fine.
I’m somewhat bored with her style and moreso, her presentation. The clothes are nice, yes, but they are not worn with any type of sophistication.
I’ve worked with women like this at Vogue and GQ who are just stylish by osmosis- they were what comes into their office- not what they go out and put together themselves.
“Best of Season” – I couldn’t agree more! From seeing your photos of her from Paris Fashion Week, I’ve become a fan of her style. Thank you for the pictures!
I find E.A. to be very chic…that effortless French style with a twist of quirk. I do however, find it hard to get past the naked face. I never truly understand it. Just a sweep to conceal the dark circles and a flash of mouth would be fabulous. Something so miniscule yet makes a world of difference.
Allow me to go against the stream and am ready to be hit with adverse comments, but the shoes remind me of a witch and I find the black willow look too gaunt and dark to be attractive.

Were you stalking this woman? Her expression in the second to last doesn’t appear too pleasing.

I like her clothes more than her demure. She has that “I’m bored” attitude, that is supposed to be a honest reaction to the mundane in some places or circles -blasé style, perhaps-.

In 3rd photo from the top, the legs of the person on the right takes the focus off the real subject of the photo..the lady on the left.

She looks fabulous, especially in the first pic – love the leggings/laced shoes combo.
And most importantly – she looks effortlessly chic. The ‘try-hard look’ brigade take note!
Great pair of pins too ;-)

I have to disagree with you
Emmanuelle is one of Vogue’s top stylist – her style is one of the main reasons Paris Vogue looks so good.
She puts it on the page
