Now there’s a redhead who knows what to do with it. The coat is a very special piece and she wears it like she owns it rather than being worn by it. The touch of fox obviously makes the whole look!. And I love the shoes.
While I am not a fan of fur, I must say this coat has a really unique, fun shape that softly envelopes her instead of a traditional boxy coat. I like how the hue of her hair and dark eyebrows show up in the coat and stockings. Beautiful!
This look is perfection. The colours and the shape – not many people can pull off the voluminous look without looking silly or just seeming to try too hard. She is a very pretty and elegant woman.
The detail on that coat is beautiful. I love the texture, design and fold of the fabric. And yes, the colours set off her hair perfectly! She looks so cute.
It’s an Isabel Marant coat, although she’s wearing the fur collar askew, which is interesting… might mean it’s detachable… the runway look had a longer layer underneath, but worn this way, and with the off-centre collar, it appears more of a statement piece.
Perfect in every way. The cut and color of the coat, the great shoes and the fact that her scarf looks like an extension of her beautiful red hair. Sublime.
Love the coat as well… especially the fabric on the bias which allows it to drape nicely, the buttons, how the shape of the bottom of the coat repeats the collar (or vice versa) and the fabric itself.
It’s great if she’s modified the look of the coat to suit her own style, as suggested by ajane – I love seeing runway looks redone on real people – so much more interesting than flipping through a magazine.
there’s a certain delicacy/innocence about her (her lightness of step makes it look like she’s hovering above the ground), but at the same time the shock of red hair and the mischevious smile make her look sexy as hell!
anyone notice that her hair and fur match the aged discolored bricks behind her and that the pattern of cobbles under her feet are filled with the most beautiful green moss that is perfect contrast to the color she brings. beautiful!
Me encanta Me encanta Me encanta!. This particular outfit represents how people can traslate fashion into real life in a very original way. Its look modern, fashionable and so Gorgeous.
I love her coat, it doesn’t overwhelm her body, it fits perfectly. Although I would have to see what she’s wearing underneath to know if she looks stylish, since the coat and tights are pretty basic, but still satisfactory.
Love this! Its sassy and edgy, yet perfectly easy going as well…just terrific! I am so glad I discovered your blog. I’m in the process of studying all of the archived posts. What a treasure trove of “real life” style!

the coat just desperately wants to be “fun”.

I love it. She looks so cozy and original to boot, and the color is fantastic. The peapod shape is unexpected but she pulls it off beautifully.
