+1. Perfectly stated. There’s a fine line (or maybe not so fine in some cases) between stylish and garishness. Some people dress to make themselves happy; others dress to be seen and their perception of attaining that need is what makes them happy. I realize it’s a fashion show but good taste never takes a day off.
I love red & blue stripes, but the fit on those pants is so off. They aren’t flattering (saggy butt!), and obviously that lady has a fine body. I love the woman’s look next to her, though I’d maybe hike the skirt down a few inches.
ok kind of found it! she’s actually wearing a sweater and shorts (not as cool in my opinion but still must have) by Finders Keepers, called Strange Ways jumper and Midnight Lover shorts, which will be available on fashion bunker in november I believe.
Love the floral-on-black prints (though, to my eye, they’re crying out for Docs).
Ms Della Russo’s super-shiny shin-protection-from-snappy-little-dog-devices/gladiator-wrap-thingies make me kinda sad–I know that flashy and OTT is her thing, but I can’t help wishing that someone would just give her a hug and tell her she doesn’t have to try so hard.
Luv the 1st pic. The contrast of the black and white huge plaid dress and the wonderful ed and blue legging/pants are just wonderful. They both look great!
And the turquoise and lime green chunk heel shoes are so totally fab. The enormous top and huge jeans would work with a different maybe flowy top. The outfit is not working, but the shoes help it come to terms with itself, haha!
