In the last photo I noticed the bracelet at the wrist of the lady with the denim long shirt, at the right side….. Is it the Balenciaga bracelet Garance was talking about in this post? http://www.garancedore.fr/2013/09/05/love-2/
I love it!
I love your photos and the blog is so inspiring…… (Yes, it’s my first comment!)
Camo Birkenstocks possibly acceptable otherwise I agreed. (My wife bought me a pair in dark brown to replace a pair of Kurt Geiger minimalist cross overs which died on me and I can’t help thinking I look like a German tourist!)
Flattering looks – I notice the absence of huge tattoos on these women; hopefully that is a new trend – I am tired of the tattoo look – they all look the same, no individuality expressed, in my opinion.
That ethnic embroidered matching set is just stunning! I love how the textile has been used with respect to it’s origin & it looks so incredibly elegant & fits into the scene perfectly. By far my winning look.
As thrilled as I am to see how great that woman makes those Birkies look, I have to call out the black bra sticking out from a backless –white– dress. I know that so many young girls wear that fearlessly, but I still find it quite tacky.
First 3 pictures – stunning wonderful style. The last one is a horror. That bra, those hair extentions, those birkenstocks…beurk! Some might call it fun, but I say it’s a mess. Especially at the fashion show. The dress would be cute thought if worn differently.
Seriously applaud the girl in the leather jacket. The woman in the last photo looks insufferable. As if she can’t see that beauty is everywhere and all around us, but only in self-subjugation to regimens and diktats.
Although the leather jacket look is seems bold it doesn’t draw the same sex appeal as a vintage, sexy look of denim. The shiny leather look comes across too confident and gets upstaged by a more fitted, button up look. I suppose fighting the interested fella’s off is proof enough. Fashion rules have taught us not to count on what the fellas think about our fashionable attire. especially when all they deserve is an effort award! While you dress up in Milan he’s undressing his sights on something comfortable.
LOVE the last photo. The hair is perfect with those shoes. The intentional bump in her hair, showing where there was once a ponytail, paired with the birks…. all anchored with an unexpectedly girly dress? Awesome.
