I live for people who don’t worry about “winter things” and “summer things”. Just wear what makes sense to your comfort instead of what your mommy told you to wear in winter. Every time I see this kind of freedom I hear my mom nagging me about wearing a winter coat even when one wasn’t necessary. I adore the cool shoes with the prim coat. But what really stands out are her great legs.
Sorry to bunch on to your party here. But I was too lazy to scroll down and leave a comment. Love it.
Agreed. She can pull off lots of color but this is just a flat out no no. The colors clash. Sneakers don’t work with the more polished look of the coat, and scarf. This is really a horrible look.
The only thing worse is uggs and short shorts. Actually, that might be an improvement.
great colour combination. Shame about the bare legs.. in freezing winter it looks odd. Reminds me a night of an earthquake in Milan, seeing people in the streets who just got out of be and stormed out of their house just throwing their coat on..
Love her smile, like her shoes, don’t mind bare legs in winter but I absolutely can’t be doing with the colours of her coat and scarf together. It feels like a breach of something fundamental! Entirely subjective, however, and there’ll be countless gazillions who gasp in pleasure at it…
So much fun!
I would never ever have thought this would work…but it does.
Really surprised at the mixed reviews of the colour combination. I love mustard yellow with brights, and I think pink and red together are magnificent.
Only one problem with the whole look (which I think is fantastic), I get the feeling she has no pants on.
Scott, you getting your photoshop skills on??
Bottom half would look great in summer, Top half looks good in winter .
Thrown together… not so good.
She must be cold as she is wearing gloves, a hat and a scarf tied up. No wonder with the bare legs in winter Milan.
Love the sneaks
It’s clear that this lady has put some thought into this outfit (though it’s ok when people don’t). I mean she teamed the red-hot knit hat with the red-hot ankle socks. Such forethought! It makes the eye travel, something that Diana Vreeland would have appreciated.
This is the first time I’ve seen the coat / bare legs – combo not working out. Might have worked without the hat and scarf, but this way it looks like it’s 20 below outside, and someone dared her to go pantless.
the color combination here is definitely unconventional- but still so fabulous and chic! I’ve never seen a pair of color-blocked bright nikes dressed up so well!
I know that fashion is not meant to be practical, and the colors create a nice ensemble, but I must say that I can’t think of any temperature/climate where a beanie, scarf, coat, and gloves with zero leg coverage could ever be comfortable attire.
Love her use of colour; I also think the heavy coat with bare legs is interesting- not something that could be done in chilly London, but very interesting none the less! A great look.
Awful! I bet she didn’t even like that outfit. And bareleged this time of the year in Milan? Who are you kiding? Dressed only to be photographed. Pity.
A very courageous look! Love the colours, but not sure on the jacket length covering the bottoms (assuming there are bottoms…)
But those shoes must be a nice break from heels! Comfy -
I love her freedom in wearing what she wears
Bare legs and running shoes and warm upper body clothes all tailored and gorgeous — she is doing freedom warmth & style!
great color play, but I hate nikes. the colors work well but the shoes are hideous for their silhouette and their brandname sickens me. I will never understand how everyone can all agree to dislike uggs, but accept these clunky, ugly, nike shoes. i also don’t understand how nike is even cool anymore, aren;t we all aware of how horrible of a company they are?
nice coat and I agree about her smile…lovely. but she looks like she’s trying a bit hard with the bare legs and kiddy sneakers.
I wore that kind of thing when I was ten.
Her outfit is so interesting! I love how she broke away from the typical pairings of coat + boots or coat + heels/flats and incorporated something funky and modern with a classic piece.
