I am in LOVE with this mans scarf! I like how he uses it around his waist due to the heat rather than around his neck! Very unusual, but practical. His glasses scream, "I am just this cool!" His shirt is too much for me, but I like it on him. He wears his bracelets the same way I do mine. I guess that is because he is Brazilian and I am Argentinian. Oh, the beautiful scenery! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ All THESE YELLOW TOUCHS ON A SO BRIGHT AND SUPERB PHOTO…A REAL PLEASURE ! KISS ! =========================================================
Barefoot in the sand!!! How lovley, I would love to walk barefoot in the sand, but it's a half meter snow outside my house… so it would be pretty cold!!!
Phew, that is sooo nice. I love the effortless pairing of colors. I never thought of light blue and lilac. I have those colors but wasn't happy with the combos I made and was ready to give away a lovely pair of linen slacks but this example breathes new life into my wardrobe. Thanks so much!
Wonder what colour the loafers he is carrying are? Blue? It's a very interesting ensemble in which everything contrasts despite the number of blues involved. I wonder too if Rubinacci would wear this in Italy?
I could do without the purple scarf – I think it makes it seem a bit affected. his shirt and watch and great focal points; the scarf's color is lovely but it takes away from them. maybe if his sunglasses were that purple it would be a better combination. but he does look great as usual, always gotta love Luca
I can't believe you are in Brasil! It's so hot here right?! I'm spending all of my school vacations in the pool! But, I wish i could go to Fashion Rio… Anyway, Luca's clothes are very cool, but doesn't look like something that a brazilian person would use to go to the beach. Is he a tourist?
Nice cool look for the beach. A Brazilian can pull off the purple scarf around the waist. I think I would have a hard time doing that here. Shooting at the beach is tough. Nice photo.
Totally love this! Truth be told, though, I'd rather be wearing this on a quieter beach with a few friends than at the mega-crowd beach. But he does make it work.
This is exactly how I would picture him at the beach. The sash actually ties everything together despite being a contrasting piece; the blues would be too disparate otherwise. He is hit or miss with me, but this one is right on: daring, colorful, true to the surroundings but also true to himself, and dead sexy.
Beautiful photograph, too, composition and depth of field are ideal.
Looks stunning, but let's face reality: nobody (except tourists) steps down the sand in Ipanema under this incredibly hot Sun wearing those shoes and in a long sleeve shirt. It seems as if he was walking down the sidewalk in Av. Vieira Souto and was taken to be pictured there… The picture and looks are amazing anyway. It is a great Welcome to Rio with its natural and casual glam.
Why do American men never utilize beautiful colors like these? I love that lavender scarf. Color is truly the essence of fashion, yet so many stores limit the colors of men's accessories…blah colors like burgundy, moss green, and the absolute worst…gray. We should learn from this guy!
That scarf right around his waist makes him look like a modern sheik or something. He looks really cool. I love how he plays up the blue with his shirt and glasses. I wish I could get a closer look at that bracelet he's wearing. It looks really colorful.
So now I want to be in Brazil on the beach wearing something like this… possibly be the coolest 'thrown together' outfit I've seen on sand. It looks like this guy is completely submerged in Vay Kay mode and your photo has taken me there….. for a few moments at least while we endure the snowy chill in Ontario, Canada.
he's dressed for the beach but he knows he's not going in the water with that watch, sari-ish cloth or those glasses. here we have a man who is sure of what's doing and where he is. how often does an outfit actually give this much away about personality?
Ilike very much men who experimate and are bold as it refers to their choices of colors..That means they.re not afraid to compinate other colors than the 'safe' one as black, white and the 'earth colors'…You captured the 'right moment'and i like it a lot…Love the shirt.KISSES……!
Oh how I miss Brasil!!! The color and the happyness… You can feel the joy of living in the way that people dress! Sart in Brasil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOVE IT, stay longer next time, ok sugar??
Hey, over in the UK we're all freezing. I'd like to look at how people can look good dressed for the cold. It's easy to slap on a pair of shorts and look good when you've got a physique like his and a healthy tan.
i really do wonder where does he get his fashion inspiration? so bold. love-love-love the blue and the purple mixed with the aqua-tinged shorts. ~adella
Rio, I love you….such a unique place- the mix of nature and the interests and conforts of a big city (movies, theaters, restaurants, museums, shops, malls, nightlife), the beautiful colors, the amazing light, the uncomparable energy and vitality of the city and its people, the laidback charming sophistication…
Welcome to Rio, come back often. I"m sure you'll find many more interesting characters if you're able to spend a few more days, and not just with the fashion crowd. Rio locals incorporate the mix between the urban and beach styles vey well, it's quite unique.
To all of you suffering with the cold and snow, we are sort suffering as well – it's 40ºC outside! Though we do have the beach. Who am I kidding, Rio rocks, I wouldn't trade it for any other city in the world, and I've had my share of living abroad. Come and visit us, you'll surely have a great time. Abraços!
I loved everything about his outfit…lots of style! The photo is beautiful and the yellow captured in the background make it richier…I'm Brazilian and although I have not enjoyed Summer time in Rio lately I have to agree with FashionLover…his look is not normal in Brazil.
Linda foto! Beautiful photo!!!!! I Will to Rio de Janeiro in the next summer!!!! and maybe, i make good photos! ok, Scott Shumam? Kisses for you! I love you!!! p.s: You're handsome!!!
With the combination of sunglasses and sash, I would be very, very surprised if this man was altogether not of a certain persuasion. Sure it's stylish, if sort of tacky, and fun, in a look-at-me-oh-why-don't-you-look-at-me kind of way, but the overall image is one of being over the top.

I loved everything about his outfit…lots of style!
The photo is beautiful and the yellow captured in the background make it richier…I'm Brazilian and although I have not enjoyed Summer time in Rio lately I have to agree with FashionLover…his look is not normal in Brazil.

very bold of him. The sunglasses are a little tacky but he almost pulls them off.
