OMG.. i literally fell out of my chair.. This dress is divine.. ps.. i cant believe the 2 ladies on the background were chatting instead of admiring the true beauty of this dress.
This is so ethereal. The photo is beyond fantastic—the contrast between the light, flowy dress with beautiful texture against a dark background…beautiful.
Beautiful! Though she's a tad bit skinny for my liking. And the belt that adds that little bit of detail to the presentation. It almost looks like she's floating! That grey and greyish champagne colour combination.
Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi are talented. The collection is ethnic and wearable because it's minimalist. I like the dress, bohemian look with a smart modernity!
I love the movement captured in this photo. Beyond that, I'm just staring at her rail-thin figure. For me, it's distracting, and not in the most positive of ways.
Stunning! Bit concerned about the slant of the heel on the left shoe – it looks as is it could break off any minute. However, they are lovely shoes and perfect for the dress but wrong size for sure!
The dress and the photo are sublime. But the ill-fitting shoes ruin it. I'm going to say there was some error during the fitting process, that the correct shoes didn't arrive and the designer just had to roll with it in the wings…
poor girl, having to stand all the comments about her figure and the too small shoes that probably were uncomfortable as hell. and still she's the one wearing that fabulous (in its simplicity) dress. you can't take that from her :)
You took the picture at the right second as the model walked past you: the girl's posture, the way the dress hangs on her body, her hair flowing in the air, everything is perfect.
Amazing dress, but the shoes are far too small for the girl, poor her! i'm sorry to note that, i don't usually see this kind of details, but that was too big (or not) !
People! Models often just wear whichever shoe is chosen for the show/outfit. The shoes are not specifically sized for that model. Often they wear shoes that are 3 sizes too small or 3 sizes too big. If she's a tall thin model, there's a good chance she wears a size 9 and designers aren't exactly stocking size 9 shoes for runway shoes, they usually go much smaller.
That dress has lattice smocking on it, not too hard to do with a machine called a smocking pleater. After the pleats and smocking stitches are steamed in place the cross grain threads are removed. Lattice smocking patterns are usually seen on baby clothes. It's great to see it on a woman's dress looking modern instead of something you'd see 100 years ago.
This photo makes me want to be wrapped up in my silk sheets while drinking champagne and eating strawberries. This photo is decadent with so many layers-from the rough concrete floor to the pleating on the dress and the wispy hair. Pure perfection.
Not only is the dress beautiful, but so is the shot. Really stunning. That model rocked it even though her shoes are about 2 sizes too small. That's not easy folks.
It is an amazing dress but I cringed when I saw how thin the model was. Aren't we past the size zero issue now? Why can't the fashion industry use healthier looking girls? Make the samples bigger, it's not difficult.
Yeah I have enjoyed having smocking enter the realm of adults clothes in the last few years, but here it is not a detail, it is the main event. Cool. It would be very nice to touch.
All of your fashion show pictures are wonderful and the women are truly beautiful. What I seriously cannot understand is, why fashion designers dress their models up in fantastic dresses, but give them way too small sandals. Toes sticking out look very terrible and ruin the entire look.

That dress has lattice smocking on it, not too hard to do with a machine called a smocking pleater. The fabric is run through threaded rollers that set the pleats on the cross grain, then the lattice is smocked by hand with embroidery thread. After the pleats and smocking stitches are steamed in place the cross grain threads are removed. Lattice smocking patterns are usually seen on baby clothes. It's great to see it on a woman's dress looking modern instead of something you'd see 100 years ago.
