once again it is the white pocket square that pulls this whole ensemble together in the very right way…….he is cool in a very comfortable and cool way!
A nice example of a late-Winter casual outfit. The taupe-coloured jacket is not overwhelmed by the neutral trousers. The latter have a wonderful cut – very 1960’s. The scarf is lovely, but the real stars are the shoes – are they buckled, ankle-length jodhpurs? Their colour and condition are superb.
Just back from the Milan fabric show for S/S 08. Lot’s of very chic men (the part I went to is geared to men’s wear) and saw a lot of white jeans with dark jackets, cashmere scarves, beautiful shirts).
Euros love this look (as do I) and pull it off really well.
i love everything about this look – except the tapered leg on the pants. with this guy it kinda looks funny because he’s got thicker legs – and i think the tapered ankle makes his thighs look much bigger than they are. i love the scarf though…very nice.
Great look – I do it all the time, people sometimes look at my light beige distressed velour pants with a “huh?” look, but I love them in the winter! More please! The tapering looks bad though.

Would only change the shoes, and that’s just being picky; the rest is tops.
(Have found, by the way, that patterned knit gloves offer another opportunity for color-in-winter….)

This is outstanding. Love the shoes, and the shoulder on the odd jacket is beautiful.

Nice look. I’m really feeling the colors, especially the light colored pants. I hate the tapered leg on the pant though. Wish it was straight.
