sart, i just clicked through your style.com photos, and left a comment about the picture of the worker in the marais… it is uncannily similar to one of van gogh’s postmaster portraits. in a wonderful way of course. i posted a link in the comment i left there… and well, i’ll leave it here now too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Vincent_Willem_van_Gogh_089.jpg.
the similarities are so striking. it’s amazing! what do you think? were you aware of it when taking the picture?
I love how all these pieces are seemingly mismatched and yet…all work perfectly together, a feat only someone with truly personal style could pull off with such authenticity as she does.
It also reaffirms by belief that Ray Ban aviators never go out of style…
Interesting choice of colours and I absolutely love the jacket and shirt sleeve lengths. Cropped jacket sleeves and rolled bottoms of pants and jeans are my two favourite trends of the moment. : )
wow…i love the vibrant colors on this lady but i can’t get over the background. although it’s blurry, you’re killing me because i am DYING to get back out in paris again. you’re really killing me with these pictures!
The mixed layers of brown, grey, black, white, and pattern make a subdued but not at all boring look. And then POW–there’s that great bright scarf! I’m not sure I’m crazy about that particular hat, but I do like the colors and textures.
sigh, why do only parisiennes know how to tie a scarf properly? is it genetic? or can i take classes to learn? most importantly, can i learn before i am jogging along the sein in 20 days? so many questions! very little time…
I’m getting a Parisian Annie Hall/Diane Keaton vibe here. It shouldn’t work but does. I love the scarf with the blazer, skirt tights, shoes, bag. Not so crazy about the fedora and aviators.
I think that of all pictures ever posted here, this is one of my favorites. The perfect exemple of unique style: nothing really matches, yet everything just comes together. Loved it.
This is one of my favorite looks lately. I love the colors – the grey adds a new twist to the green/pink combination. Also, she wears it well; it looks very easy on her.
Yellow and gray and pink and gray go beautifully together and to mix them all up in one look is genius! I love the way the color of her hat picks up the tones in her skirt.

From the neck down, I love everything…but the brown hat and shape of the sunglasses seem to be part of a different outfit.

exotic color matching! I personally do not like pink at all, but I think it looks really great on her. It gives life to rest of the outfit.
