I’m digging the socks too–and the sneakers & the skirt, though I’m not sure about the combination of all of them on the left. The bag, however, is just horrible.
Very expressive. Great little ankle socks on both the front people. Its hard to look away from that monkey. I keep trying to decide what direction his eyes are looking. If the bag were facing you, that is.
I agree!reminds me of old ladies from deep Polish countryside waiting for a bus, wearing floral skirts/headscarves (traditional folk pattern), smelling like a cowshed . i have actually seen combination with pimsoles- old ladies like comfort and flat shoes. this is village granny look, makes me chuckle
les fleurs, les chaussettes de tennis et les vans : c’est là qu’on se dit qu’à force d’être trop dans la mode, on ne discerne plus le beau de l’affreux.
I wonder where this photo sits with you as it seems to capture a new version of the vintage-ugly style you mentioned not more than a few posts ago. Hoping you’ll articulate the difference someday as the lines seem very blurry.
SERIOUSLY! There is too much going on here to LOVE! I mean, come on! The shoes, the patterns, the skirt, and then the MONKEY! LOVE it!
