Isabelle is always mixing it up like a good French girl would do. That cascading jabot with the slouchy trouser and granny sweater mix is not an easy look to pull off. Her messy bob and that bordeaux Chanel bag finish the look perfectly. C’est parfait!
This is something that could be worn to work (for those of us in freezing office buildings) – it meets all of the ‘business appropriate’ requirements but the top makes it fun and unconventional…just don’t stand too close to the paper shredder!
She looks great, and the shyness actually helps. Am I the only one who notices the guy in the background, cool pose and nice-looking shoes. Maybe Sart should’ve been a bit more sartorial (strictest definition of the word) and gotten him in the mix as well?
i am struggling to find something to not like (a lot) about this look and i am failing miserably. i want her clothes, i want her haircut, i wouldn’t refuse her bag, and chances are pretty good that i want her life, at least on the day that she was wearing that outfit.
Beautiful combination of wolume and colours – I especially adore the sobre blue knitted jakcet – and this woman relly can pull of all the bows and fabric in the yellow blouse (a colour similar to one of the dresses in the Prada show the other day).
I’ve always preferred the style of fashion editors and fashion designers themselves. They tend to be classic and quirky at the same time. Thanks for this photo. I love Isabel!
I’m not entirely fond of the shirt, reminds me of drapery in art class, but I love all the colors, and how the bag and shoes (/ slippers) add to the mix.
The pants are gorgeous. Luv the guy standing in the background too.
i love this outfit. the blouse is wonderful. the cardigan is lovely, too, and just the proper amount of frumpy-luxe. it’s reassuring to see someone of such fashion caliber dressing well but not over the top; very approachable. she looks just beautiful.
weird how ppl like the typical fashion! which is soo what this site is Not what it’s all about.. her look is fabulous.. so feminine.. the combination of style of each piece she’s wearing just makes her so unique.. she is amazingly feminine.. and looks comfortable and i love the ‘dried blood’ colour of her purse with the other pale pieces.. beautiful! one of the best i have seen.

There’s something very frumpy about this outfit, but she seems very confident about her choice…hmmm…interesting.

Perfect example of how a great bag (trendy? Classic.) can pull together an oufit.
Love the pants.
