It’s not soo much the nice hair, decent trench, etc., because on their own they’re not that noteworthy- but the clever way he pulled this look together is quite nice. And it seems it all started with the hair.
I love how he’s mixed that light, dotted-stripe shirt with the dark cardigan. (And I really need to expand my fashion vocab — that description was awful!) The trench I could do without, honestly. I would put him in a snug-fitting dark blazer instead. But his hair is perfect and he’s dreamy overall, as previous posters have noted.
Did we all notice the contrast b/t the perfectly highlighted hair and washed/distressed quality in his dressing? the shirt and cardigan have nicely distressed quality. then, here goes the modern silhouette of the trench: just look at that armhole – small, fitted and line up perfectly w/ the should ridge – yum……..
I agree–sorta Burberry, sorta J. Crew… I tried to block out his face and focus on the outfit, which is cute, sort of a studied frumpiness that isn’t really frumpy. The lighting is also gorgeous, and the window position in the background is GREAT.. But of course, it goes without say, this guy’s face is absolutely gorgeous. He is beautiful. The hair, the puckered lips, the fabulous cheekbones. I dated a guy who looked like this once–and unfortunately, they usually know how good-looking they are… Sigh…
Actually where can I get a trench that doesn’t sag, all trench coats I see emphasize function, thus are heavy. There seem to be tons around for women that are light and thereby maintain their shape, quite like in this picture.
Lovely photo, the clothing (cardi, trench, shirt) is all spot-on. And framing his head in the arch wiindow, the consumate fotog you are, Sart!
My guess: Agyness Deyn on a bad hair day. That face does belong on a female model. So it’s not so much as it’s handsome (think G. Clooney, or S. Schuman), it isnt, but it *is* a pretty face, and *he* is a very pretty boy. So I’m not putting his beauty down, but it helps to give it its category. And yes, we women are jealous of what needs a nip and a tuck to equal, nowadays!
Weird…the first person that popped in my head after looking at this man was WILLIAM HOLDEN! I don’t no why, perhaps it’s the raincoat with the popped collar. William Holden always wore a raincoat in rain or shine and always looked so marvelous in them. The guy in the picture executed the raincoat so stunningly! Touche.
