#1 Breathtakingly beautiful, brunette Tuesday Weld/Melissa George #2 Even with an up-the-nose shot she’s lovely, great angles, #3 Again, great angles, #4 Carly Simon! What a great catch of a great smile. You’re eye is unerring!
Giovanna looks like one of Avedon’s gazelle 50s models, even snapped casually. There’s no wrong angle on her and her clothing choices are so wonderful. Even in something very fitted and dramatic she owns her outfits, they never overwhelm her and she never looks like a victim or like she’s desperately seeking attention. By contrast, I hope the girl in the first pic will feel more comfortable one day – she’s very pretty and appropriately dressed but seems afraid to move in case she breaks something and she looks like she’s been dressed by someone else.
The first one is by far the best. She actually looks passionate. the others are just nicely dressed. There is a big difference between simply knowing how to wear amazing clothing to actually being amazing. That first girl is amazing.
#2 and #3 look so at home in their skin, happy, sensual, strong. #1 looks oddly cheap, in spite of the obviously expensive clothing; too vulnerable-sexual in a not-yet-at-home-in-self way. #4 almost looks too pat–the stunning shoes do all the work but also seem to be trying to hard to catch attention. Must be horrid to walk in. There’s something so wonderful about people who wear interesting clothes and who are at home in their own selves. Those photos just glow.
