I LOVE the very classic feel of this look. The young woman pulls the ensemble off very nonchalantly and in the kind of casually elegant manner that I most admire.
lovely and coy. and she’s double-purseing it.. next trend on the horizon, perhaps? i would actually really love it if women all started carrying two purses. better than a tiny dog.
You seem to favor Asian girls in your photos Sart. It is easy to understand, generally they are petite and light in structure-just like this girl with the green jacket. She looks comfy in her outfit. When looking at a painting or just as well blurring through interior design magazines or books, I prefer the ones that aren´t finished to perfection. I like this picture for the same reasons.
Everytime I see one of your pictures I am wowed. My immediate reaction has been to think that it’s the clothes that are amazing. But I am starting to think that it is YOU. I have a feeling that you could make anyone, wearing anything, look amazing. More and more I see you simply as a great photographer. Can’t wait for your book to come out! In the mean time, I would love to buy a print of the GRL in the red dress.
She looks incredible; I wish I could look so casually chic. The shoes are great, the top is quirky and fun, the coat is UNbelievable, and the skirt fits perfectly…. For me, the real prize is the bag. I love the length of the strap.
This woman clearly has a well curated collection of pieces and knows how to combine them. Brava!f4shionist4
you could take a picture of aya every day and you’d have an amazing street fashion blog. seriously, this outfit is par for the course. she’s incredible. i’ve been wondering when you’d post a photo of her — this one is fun and captures her style nicely. lovely and sophisticated with a little whimsy and the tiniest bit of kitsch.
when i saw the photo above i thought…mmmm i wish he would have shot the girl behind in the green coat instead…and of course you did. :) gorgeous as always
Love the color and cut! I’m an American and live and work now in Seoul, South Korea. There are great stores here but I swear I want to find a tailor and wear only fitted suits and funky shoes.
Would you know of a great tailor, for women’s clothing, here in Seoul? Also, when are you coming to Seoul?

Her face – the way the make up is done, she looks like a court lady from a Heian scroll.
Amazing how classic some looks are!
