I love that look. Its like a shorts look made naughty in the most innocent way. Ever since I saw it on here I absolutely love wearing shorts and a longer jacket so they don’t show from the back. Nothing “forgot” about it.
Love this shirt + vans combo however I’ve always thought there should be a loose belt or something to complement it. Just something to suggest it is a complete outfit instead of “i forgot my trousers”. Also the shorts should either be a visible by a trim, or something sleek that remains hidden, no?
I love this pretty photographers story you’re told us over the past few days! You don’t usually get to see the people behind the cameras and they are so interesting to watch! Amazing shot, she looks so confident and with a clear style!
This is such a fun shot! I see so many tourist in Paris, now I am keeping my eyes out for all the ladies snapping away :) I love her shoes especially – it is realistic. I walk everywhere in Paris, and would get absolutely no where if I was wearing heels everyday.
Amazing shot. Everyone in the background is working from the same pallet as the subject, which makes the red on her lips such an incredible visual treat. Love everything about the main subject. She’s so stylish, yet completely unencumbered.
Typical- this lady, though unique looking, is not *really* pretty. She’s got an interesting style, but the only thing that you all find so attractive is that she’s very thin. If she were wearing the same thing but was 60+ pounds heavier no one would dare call her pretty.
this “no-pants” look was happening two years ago at arts college. all for being cute but in the case of this look in public, it seems rather silly. can’t imagine it will be any better a look when guys start doing it.
This is a simple look ,yet so stylish. Unless you look carefully you would miss the rolled sleeves, the threads from a high waisted pair of shorts and the lack of jewellery. Simplicity captured at its fullest!
Great legs! I absolutely love the whole big top, unseen bottoms thing. I am seeing it a bit here and there, and liking it every time I see it. But this is especially great because she just looks so natural and tomboy cool.
@ Anita N–for some of us, “pretty” is not really a virtue. We find striking, unique, and interesting far more attractive or aesthetically pleasing than “pretty.” Therefore, this woman is far more lovely, in my eyes, than the cookie-cutter “pretty” girls.
Yes, I too am over the “oops, I did it again! Left home without my trousers!” look. It’s trying too hard. Even with killer stems like these. And while we’re at it, can we put a ban on super-frayed, cutoff jeans with the pocket linings showing? Hooker-style exemplified.
@ une chatte grise- I understand. However, your statement about what you find attractive doesn’t resolve the fact that you only find this girl “striking” looking because she is very thin. A “cookie-cutter pretty girl” will still have a lovely face no matter her size, but if this girl, this girl in the photograph weighed 60+ lbs. more and were wearing the exact same outfit, no one would be talking about how “striking, unique, and interesting” she looks. Just an observation.
@ Anita N. — NO. I do not only find her striking because she is thin. I find her striking because she has a terrific profile and lovely bone structure.
You may not be able to see her beauty, but your vision is not the only right and true one. And please refrain from assuming that you can read my mind or put words in my (or other commenters’) mouths.
Lovely! I love looks where they give the illusion of a naughty what am I wearing underneath look! She is not showing a bit of extra skin, but the look is sooo sexy and naughty and still tomboy and effortless! You can tell she isn’t trying, just succeeding. Of course you will get a few prudes upset with a look like this! Can’t wait for summer.
