Thaks, Alyssa! I am getting a wonderful fashion education from The Sartorialist. I googled him and now I know he takes awesome fashion & celebrity photographs. I think he must have a great sense of style, which you can kind of see in the slightly rumpled grey tweed jacket (silk-cotton or silk-linen?). Also, he doesn’t have a camera bag. That’s maybe kind of like going sockless for a photographer.
LOL!! Realx. You are thinking too hard. Photographer yes, although not in the process of taking a picture. Pretty; It depends, I suppose. Pretty enough!
But a neat shot with the hair flowing down. Just a candid of a guy some people here will know and enjoy seeing.
No idea who Sorrenti is, the fascination in this picture is the haircut which hides the face and makers the figure loof feminine vs the baggy jacket and jeans. The hands tell you this is indeed a man. Not too impressies by the outfit als such, guess you had to be there?
For some reason, the weighted-down pocket is my favorite bit… I guess I love seeing people who truly live in their clothes and are able to combine form and function. Love the hair, too!
Maybe I am getting older, and maybe it is because I love history, but it seems sad to me to see people (Hazel excluded) who appear obsessed with fashion to write that they don’t know who Sorrenti is without searching for him first. This guy had shot some of the most iconic fashion images of the last 20 years.
I like the white speckles mixed in with the blue as it makes the coat stand out more and I would wear it with the collar up, and yea, he does have cool hair
This photo has convinced me that the jacket I want is menswear. Might as well just buy the fabric that drapes correctly and have it tailored. I’m very disappointed by the stiff, bulky, tailored tweeds sold for women.

Love the photo, but why is he part of “all the pretty photographer”, when he is not photographing anything?

Style is not always about clothes. Style is in hair, makeup , accessories
Don’t confine your eye to just clothes.

Yes, great style typical from Sorrenti. The jacket one size bigger and the sandwich in the pocket…
