CONGRATS on all your success, you've been blessed! But don't forget to keep your feet on the ground, don't get swept up in the fashion world.

Now for something slightly less glamourous. While Mr. S was signing at The Griffin, I was in the checkout line at Anthropologie San Francisco with his new tome in hand. No crystal flute for me. I did have some Napa red in a jelly jar later.
I've shelved The Sartorialist next to a new copy of Frank's The Americans, just a few volumes down from a dogeared copy of Disfarmer. Great shooters of culture belong together.

Sart, I know you have an immaculate sense of style…But somehow, I have an urge to mess you up a tad. Don't get me wrong, I love your sense of style(Otherwise I wont be following ur blog:p)but I think the whole picture perfectness (well groomed hair, brillantly white starched shirt and ceaseless trousers) looked contrived. Thoughts, anyone?

I have always liked this blog. However, these personal touches you give it now w/ more conversation about your vision (i.e. why you chose this particular concept for your book) has made me come to love it. I'm about to graduate high school this year and am quite excited for what is to come. I'll keep an eye out for when you're next doing an event in New York; now I would very much like to meet the person behind these pictures (hopefully Garance will be there too :))
