A Little Reminder of Home, Paris

3816BallerinasB5295

I saw these two models with their hair done leaving the Valentino Show and it reminded me of how my little girl looks leaving ballet class with one of her friends.

It made me feel a little bit at home. (I’ll admit, it was a selfish shot).

    Really sweet!
We’re always looking for something new but we’re also looking for something familiar, I think. Even if we don’t know it.

It is just reminiscing the daughter. How lovely it is. Putting the hair knot in this way is neat and classy. Love it.

Why can’t we see more elegant woman and man in our everyday life…and not just after a fashion show..

    Very darling.

I studied ballet for a time. My favourite memory is of all the little dancers, every one with hair like this, going to the washroom en pointe.

I must say I am delighted in general with this hairdo, as I cannot stand all that messy rapunzel hair in fashion. This is a million times better. No, a zillion.

How beautiful, at first look it reminded me of ballet class too. I love the silhouette of the Ferris wheel in the background too, adds to the romantic charm. Love this!

For many women, ballet dancers are the first fashion icons. So, not “selfish” at all – universal style!
(How do they get every hair PERFECTLY in place, I have yet to accomplish it, despite YouTube tutorials…)
