I’m in Madrid for the opening of my exhibit at Loewe. It officially opens June 14th, and runs through August 5th, if you’re in town to check it out.

I’m sorry, I don’t mean to sound negative; I just hope to someday see film prints of your work. I can’t help wondering how some of my favorites would look –say for example,as a dye-transfer print, but that’s a moot point. Call it : The Sartorialist unplugged…
… I’ll just hope and pray that you’ll shoot film, large format, and leave it that.

I went to see the exhibit today. Initially, I was thinking, “Oh, I’ve seen a lot of those pictures on the blog probably, and it won’t be very new..” But somehow, seeing them in print on a wall, is very different and more intense than seeing them on a laptop. I really enjoyed it (and introduced a friend to your blog by dragging her to the exhibit). I feel lucky to be in Madrid and be able to see your work “in person.” Thank you!
p.s. I might have put a little thought into my outfit today, hoping to run into your camera. But I’m sure I wasn’t the only one! :p

I read about this as I was in Madrid on a layover, went to Loewe, but was told I had to come back because of a press thingy. And then I had to go to catch a plane to Pamplona. Soooo close, yet soooo far.

We were in Madrid recently and found your exhibit in the Loewe store by chance. Great shots, I loved it! One of the photos reminded us of an older version of our son so we wondered if you would give us a bit more info, without identifying the person specifically. Just where you took it, what city etc. It was the shot of the guy with slicked back hair in black and boots on the back wall, about in the middle. Thanks!
