Just an infinitesimal bit too random. I’m trying desperately to find a grain of intent, the most deceiving of “accidentally stylish”, to no avail. No points if this was the closest thing piled on the chair as you ran out to grab a quart of milk or a pack of cigs. Still love ya, though. Now, go home and get dressed and we’ll get a glass of wine …

“Face is not bad” Isn’t that an extremely rude way of talking about someone ?

And making comments on body shape also. Nobody knows why she is so thin. I have an extremely nervous colleague who looses 4 kgs when she stresses, can’t gain weight and is very insecure about it. So I know that being really skinny is not always intentional.

So when in doubt, better keep quiet.

This said, the look could be interesting, but this sneakers ! Too wide, too flat and shapeless.

She looks darling, but I want to feed her. I find the photos of emaciated women on this site quite depressing. Slender, fine. Knees wider than thighs = no.

Usually I do not see such rude comments here. I have seen much more thrown together looks on this site without inciting venomous comments. As far as how thin she is, my daughter is very thin too and it is her completely natural and normal body type and she is constantly remarked upon and encouraged to eat which she does often and a lot and does not gain weight, Remarking on people’s body type is despicably cruel.

I am terribly sorry if I hurt anyone’s feelings commenting on the girl (or boy)’s weight. It is just that the fashion industry tends to celebrate a degree of thinness that often involves unhealthy behavior–although not always, of course. My criticism is not of thin people but of the photographers, casting agents, directors, etc. who promote this body type through their work (though never their words).

“The youthful mix of Paris today” (as captioned @thesartorialist)

Time to visit a bit more of Paris than just the Marais or rue Saint Honoré, Sartman.

Your vision of Parisian style is so far from reality, it’s almost funny.

I don’t know why she is so skinny, but she looks fine to me.
