I Finally found my favorite stretchy Anderson belts at Unis in New York which is great because I had just recently lost my blue one. They must have around five colors of them available.
If you’re thinking about buying just note they run small. Personally, I had to go up a size for the right fit.

If you’re a fan of Prada this book will be like candy to you. Â I originally saw it a few months back in the Prada in Milan and decided I NEEDED to have a copy. It’s a HUGE hardcover book filled to the brim with images of everything Prada. Runway stills, ad Campaigns, accessories shots, exhibition photos…trust me when I say, you’ll feel very full after looking at this book.

I can’t wait to go back to Rome this summer.
When I was there last summer, I fell in love with Hotel Villa Spalletti Trivelli. It’s a private home which has been converted into a hotel (but don’t worry, it has not lost any of its original character).
As you can see from all the photos above, I loved the decor in this hotel. They had such a great mix of classic Italian with little modern touches that kept it from being too period specific. The real charm was in all the small Italian touches. It seems every table had a little silver candy tray and if it didn’t have a candy tray the tabletop was filled with framed photos of the family. The pure linen sheets are tonally monogrammed with an S for Spalletti. Again, so chic and so subtle, most people wouldn’t even notice it, but that’s what makes it so special.
My individual room was a corner facing room with windows on either side which allowed me to throw open the windows and feel like I was really a part of Rome.
Below is a link to the site, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

We’re preparing for the next round of shows in Italy and Paris and one of the first thing’s we’re doing is making arrangements with Cinq-S.
It’s a great car service in Paris, and it was able to get us not only around Paris, but also to Versailles just outside of Paris. The driver literally meets you at the door of the airplane at Charles de Gaulle.
Everyone knows my love for Italy but Cinq is warming me up to the delights of Paris.

Leave her to Heaven won the Academy Award for best cinematography in 1945, but that’s only part of why I’m suggesting this film.
The color throughout the movie is beautiful, a dreamy palette of teal and white, but to me this film is all about Gene Tierney. Specifically in the infamous boat scene above. I watch this movie for that scene alone.
She embodies the perfect idea of 1940′s fashion. Â Great hair, perfect makeup, gorgeous sunglasses, and of course big shoulders. Not to mention she plays a great femme fatale.
