I wasn’t familiar with her work, but as soon as I saw it, I felt like she was a kindred spirit. The images capture something that’s both recognizable and yet mysterious. The simplicity of the portraits deepen your curiosity about the subject. And to be quite honest, I’m totally jealous I didn’t get to take a couple of these shots! But, I wasn’t shooting much when I was four years old.
