Classic + geometric + tribal; yes, I am inspired! There are elements in common with these different patterns and textures, so they work, but still look unexpected.
I also find interesting that there are subjects of The Sartorialist who have a sense of modesty and/or privacy in agreeing to be photographed but not wanting their faces shown. This indicates it’s truly about the enjoying the clothes.
I just love your photos from Milan, italians always know how to mix prints and textures and still look classy. I wonder what kind of shoes she wear. https://shopaholicbymichelle.wordpress.com
I agree that the blouse is stunning and perfect with the pants. I’ll even go for the necklaces. But the coat interrupts the flow of the outfit and takes away from the pattern and colors of the blouse. It would stand out so much more with a coat that plays off the black, red and white.
There is a LOT going on here, pattern-wise – it’s busy. But I like it. I like how the eye keeps moving to see what’s next. Again, this is what I love about fashion – this seems to break all the rules, and it seems to work.

I love the pattern mix here, especially the coat and blouse. I am not too fond of the mound of necklaces.

The coat is a great counterpoint to the daring mix of prints, accessories and textures.
