hey hey, love the sytle too. especially the first one. but where exactly can I find the missoni wrap? or does anybody know the measures of the wraps? then I could make my own with leather details. grazie
I find it very interesting that this trend has expanded to the male world beyonf¡d de Arabic culture… it’s always cool to watch and see how some things susch as turbants and wraps trespass their more traditional ambiance to become pure fashion. I guess that’s evolution!
the head wrap can be a beautiful, beautiful thing. it does take practice to get it right with fabric weight and hair texture…it’s at its best when it’s on point, not messy.
I’ll pass on this trend. And on the bedazzled shirt, 200 wrist bands, and oversized gym shorts on the second guy. He’s going too many directions at once for me.
A nice complement to your previous post of the woman in the big hat doing a mens’ look … and this guy, really, is doing a woman’s look. It’s not my cup of tea, but I really appreciate what he’s doing.
I have a wrap like this that’s made out of terri cloth so I use it as a towel to put my hair in. Now that i see this style, maybe I can pull it off on the street, or maybe not.
Why does this suddenly become a trend when white people/men start wearing it? I have plenty of friends, who are people of color, both men and women who have been wearing head-wraps for decades. Things like this slightly irritate me. Ethnic details as trends is insulting imo.
Head wraps are really ancient. For time immemorial men would wrap a cloth around their head. So this is going back to the really early days of human civiliazation
i love this! can anyone tell me where i can buy a nice head wrap and how to do it? i have a scarf i tried to do it with but it was a fail. please help! :)
