I think this photo captures perfectly the fashion that’s been stirring the boundaries between masculine and feminine and genders in general lately. Beautiful!

So true! This person appears almost completely gender-neutral. XO, Janea

He doesn’t look androgynous. He looks like a boy dressing up like a girl. I have seen it done well maybe a handfull of times, but mostly its just like this. Its more a proclamation of sexual orientation then fashion statement. Although I really do like seeing fur coats on guys. Just not guys that are wearing more blush then my granny.

Whatever Maria. He looks great. Check yourself next time you wear slacks if you think what he’s wearing now only belongs to females.

This coat is not likely not sold together with other menswear but he rocks it.

I see the person, the coat, the beautiful face and the gorgeous haircut, that is all!
dont really understand these “gender” related comments, when can we culturally move beyond the male vs female divide or crossovers? where I live we don’t have a ‘he’ vs ‘she’ linguistic structure to address the third person!
See the person, not the “gender”!!!!

Gimme a break… Old habits die hard, and gender is an incredibly old concept. Have a little patience with people.

Um, I guess when we stop being mammals. Because we have two genders, and the two genders are different. Women can give birth, and men are physically stronger by virtue of their hormonal make up. Is there some reason that someone should want to be genderless? I sure don’t. I hope to have at least 80 years of being female…although I suppose I’m not going to live into the hundreds…sot at least 70.

You confuse gender – which is psychological and social – with sex, which is purely biological function. Your belief of only ‘two genders’ is from western culture and doesn’t take into account, or respect, other cultures around the globe which do recognize more than two genders.

Exactly. I see nothing related to gender in this picture. It’s a great coat and a young guy.
