Oh, yes, I see that now but at first .reminds me of Daniel Day Lewis. I think of this look as ‘masculine chic,’ a touch left of center of classic.

May I add: The Sartorialist X is a gorgeous, all-consuming delight!

I’ve seen that fabric somewhere before… I think it was covering the mattress of my child’s pack and play.

No, it is a traditional horse riding garment type of fabric. But shorter for a riding jacket.

As a horse rider, I aux that on my riding teachers, but un navy blue or khaki ever since I was 5.

Actually quilted jackets are a First World War fashion. Just far enough removed from common memory to be new again…

He is lost… in his jacket. It seems out of proportion on his frame. As if his torso were abnormally long, with short legs beneath. If he has a nice build, this certainly doesn’t do him justice.

I’m always impressed by how you can manage to find simple yet great outfits, and make people look so unique. That is probably the kind of person I would not particularly notice in the street, but you found a way to show how elegant and classy he looks.

I didn’t prefer this kind of jacket previously. However, with the slim a d edgy cutting, it actually looks functional and classy. Great for classy winter.

He forgot the coat. That’s only the liner. Nope.

Have you ever seen the quilted jackets of Barbour? The Liddlesdale is an all time favorite.

I like the coat, it’s more the longer version of the Barbour. I don’t like width and length of his trousers.

I love that pant length on a man. It shows off the shoes very nicely.

He’s taking a risk wearing the liner as a jacket. I think it works because it’s the same color as his pants.

If this was in Portland he’d be considered a pretentious hipster. But in Milan, he gets a pass.

A little too drab for me — needs an interesting, colorful scarf or something to pop. I’d prefer a shorter jacket too.
