I’m having a hard time accepting/supporting this shark tooth pendant trend. Yes, I know it’s not a real shark tooth. But there’s something gratuitous about it…maybe it’s just me.
Interesting choice of jewelry. I didn’t notice the lace detail at first glance since his jewelry is so striking, but the shirt becomes more beautiful the more I look at it.
Interesting pose.
In some places that interesting hand signal means “Eff off”. As he is on his way to smiling, I imagine he is feeling more benign than that :-)
I don’t mean to offend or being dogmatic, so take what I am saying just as a meditation. There are so many possibilities nowadays and such a big acceptance and variety, that everyting seems right and the criteria is that there is no criteria. I believe in that, but style is not just dressing up as you want: To wear an oversized white shirt and a black hat with lots of complements that don’t fit together, creating an ugly image, is not style. Is just dressing different, but that is at reach of everybody. I myself do it often. The question I would have an answer to is: what is style?
If wearing oversized monochrome clothes with statement accessories is what he usually wear, he has a style.
Many people working in the fashion industry and filling style blogs with their fashion-week outfits don’t actually have a style even if they are generally well dressed. They just go with the flow and follow the trends… A stylish person is able to stay true to his sartorial persona regardless of the trend waves. I think of people like Emmanuelle Alt, Anna Dello Russo, Anna Piaggi, Erin Wasson, Michele Lamy, etc. All different styles, but timeless in their own way.
Anna Dello Russo and Bryan Boy always pull off the “More is More” style for me. There is that wonderful lightness of being that they both exude that makes their OTP style work..for me.
This gentleman’s ‘style’ (whether he is a famous fashion person in Korea or not, doesn’t move me). I just feel him trying way to hard and the showy attitude just feels thugish. No sense of fun and fashion, style, love, kindness that you get fromAdR and BB.
He’s not trying hard enough. He didn’t accessorize below his waistline. And seriously no sunglasses? You have multiple accessories, but is lacking an essential accessory for the face? Embrace the sunny bright weather with style. Put on some cool shades.
Cuantas cosas feas juntas, excesivo.
