I like the jacket and scarf but not a fan of the jeans or the cigarettes.

Top half is most exellent, love the textures and layers and would love to see what those individual layers are, intrigued. The over baggy dark rolled jeans need to go, ASAP.

the pants look a couple of sizes (length) too big for him, but everything else looks good

I find the entire look exceptional, esp since it was done with denim. Perfect.

While his jeans and stance are so modern-day Charlie Chaplin, I love what’s going on up top: a thick tweedy jacket with what look to be two separate scarves worn together. :) Janea

LOL! I had exactly the same thought as Flooch: Chaplin’s Little Tramp.

Hate the jeans/pants. Clearly too big and too long.

It’s a look. Still, a bit too much.

He will risk his limbs going downstairs. I speak from experience (broken shoulder). Beware all bit baggy pants unless you live in two dimensions.

The jeans are to be celebrated – they absolutely work as part of the ensemble; the cigarette does not. Some Chaplinesque shoes (from Lazy Oaf, perhaps) would address the Health & Safety concerns expressed.

I like the white buttons on the tweed-look jacket,I haven’t seen that often. They pop out on the picture. (Normally darker colour buttons are preferred on tweed.) Also the white buttons go well with the white dots on Charly’s scarf.

The style is pure poetry. Black and white fits SO well, Scott. Swoon… =) xo

Those jeans must have been gifted to him by a bariatric surgery patient. They look multiple sizes too large.

The picture would be better in colour but nice to see that the skinny&too short jeans trend has found a perfect opposition

Oversized jeans may be causing a disharmony. But I think Scott thought that oversize fit may be an interesting point to look at. It would’ve been a little normal if the jeans were slim fitted.

This Charlie Chaplin for the 21st century is one of my Japanese tailors. He is still young but very efficient. He is working at AL SOLE in Tokyo, managed by a great Japanese stylist, Yoichi ONISHI.

Amazing, he works at a shop called Alsole in Tokyo Japan as a tailer and a stylist. You must visit the store as well as the web below. (sorry only in Japanese though…)

He’s got to be a dancer. Almost perfect first position!
