This is a trend in NYC. Bike to work. Change into your suit or other work clothes at work. Change back when it is time to bike home or to the gym. Thank Citibike.

I like this shot. Usually portraits are face on, or profile. Because this shows a style of dress (tee shirt ball cap) done differently, it becomes more daring to shoot the photo from behind.

The hat is nice, I love those shoes. But overall, I don’t see any real reason for the picture, although I don’t mind looking at it, its kind of fun.

I don’t know, it seems like when Sart comes to NYC the quality of the subjects deteriorates. The Euros just look better and the US pales in comparison. Everyone looks like they are strung out on something. Quite disturbing or Scott I invite you to explore the upper east side where some of us at least make an attempt .

This is a spontaneous street photo that captures a social trend. Many of the European photos appear to be models or people in the couture trade. CW

“Strung out on something”! How on earth does this man, sitting upright on a bicycle and seen only from the back, seem to you to fit into that category? Oh wait, perhaps I can guess.

Yep. Amazing ability to say someone is ‘strung out on something’ just from seeing the color of his …hat?

I disagree. People here in Paris for example all look the same… less creativity, more brand-driven…
Citiers like NY or London are much more creative, people make more out of less it seems and i find this refreshing.

        Good observation, less is more.

Funny. I thought ‘ordinary.’ Then I saw the hat and said, ‘outfit.’

I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any helpful hints for newbie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
