I don’t think she is in any way androgynous. I mean she isn’t screaming fembot, but it jusy looks casual and clean. Nothing she is wearing is in any way masculine, so I don’t know why you would say that. Because she isn’t wearing make up? Neither do I.

Seems like cords are making a comeback. I love these, not too 70′s style, and stylishly done here the white fuzzy sweater over a sailors tee. Tucked in, it doesn’t look too slouchy. Kudos.

If I owned those pants I would wear them non stop, and I especially love them with the comnfy looking shoes. Perfect comfy outfit. I need those pants. Its so funny that people are having trouble getting their head around this, because its really so lovely.

The corduroy pants are too long for this woman. They will drag on the ground and tear. Moreover, the sandals make no sense with a sweater and corduroys. Better tailoring and a better choice of footwear will make a huge difference in her look.

I would feel so frumpy and bunch and ugly if I wore this. It looks like my virginal Catholic sister in law from 1980.

This shot makes me want to go back to London, especially to Shoreditch, where there’s no shortage of personalty, originality, and uniqueness… surely that’s better than everyone trying to look the same?

Much better, I think! As a longtime reader of this site, it’s nice to see Mr S once again highlighting real personal style, not walking advertorials.

I lived in Columbia Road more than 10 years ago while studying at Goldsmiths…. I feel nostalgic, it was such an ugly neighbourhood and the days were grey and depressing for a Mexican like me. The streets full of nice looking people who looked as lonely as I was
