i love the carefree, yet put-together, youth that shines through her outfit and the photo. I have a good idea of what this person is like through her choices. Thanks for adding this one.Looking forward to the book!

The vest reminds me of the dresses that Dolce & Gabbana are selling for fall '09. The rest I can take it or leave it, I have a personal dislike for "art&crafty" outfits; 1or 2 pieces is fine. I will check to see what your other readers post. Jorge from WPB

July 21, 2009 at 10:23 am
you can't see how cool it is. Her hair is in the way
July 21, 2009 at 10:27 am
i like the DIY-ness of her vest. i'm not into bedazzled details, but her devil-may-care attitude here is pretty refreshing.
July 21, 2009 at 10:36 am

July 21, 2009 at 10:51 am

July 21, 2009 at 11:30 am
Great vest with all those chunky stones!
July 21, 2009 at 11:54 am
Hmm. This look is a bit too East Village Valley Girl for me. You know the type: babbling into their iPhones and overusing words like "like". (Or "cioè" if she is in fact Italian.)

July 21, 2009 at 11:58 am
This shouldn't work but it totally does! Love it.

July 21, 2009 at 12:11 pm
great print on that tee, wonder where she got it from..
July 21, 2009 at 12:23 pm
Not something to try at home. A lot of pattern going on which isn't easy to pull off… but on this chick – it looks effortless.
I love it.
Cute student! I want to buy her pinkberry.
July 21, 2009 at 12:48 pm
At first glance, I thought the shirt paired with the vest might be a little much, but then I noticed that the larger jewels of the vest complimented the colors on her shirt and was subsequently delighted. The chunky bracelet is my favorite. I'd need to see the shoes before commenting on the bag; as it stands not a fan of it with the outfit.
July 21, 2009 at 12:53 pm
that vest is amazing
as are her legs
as is her aloofness
July 21, 2009 at 1:01 pm
White sunlit outline from hair to her hand against dark ombre background very ethereal, giving her appearance of angel visiting our planet.
July 21, 2009 at 1:15 pm
The bag is John Galliano.
July 21, 2009 at 1:26 pm
I love that beaded vest- very original!
July 21, 2009 at 1:51 pm
The color coordination between the vest and t-shirt is excellent. At first I found this outfit incoherent, but it fits together nicely: grey, brown, cream, turquoise.

Sometimes vests can look overly masculine, especially with tailored shorts. But adding the sparkly beads and the cutesy tee make this outfit super fun! A hint of masculinity underneath all of the sparkle is perfect.
July 21, 2009 at 2:09 pm
Wow. I absolutely LOVE this outfit. I would so not be able to pull it off, but she does a GREAT job.
July 21, 2009 at 2:32 pm
I LOVE this! The t-shirt is adorable, and the vest is so chic. Plus, that bag is fabulous :D
July 21, 2009 at 2:39 pm

July 21, 2009 at 3:13 pm
with that huge tote, she can't manage to put that folder in the bag?otherwise, cute outfit.
July 21, 2009 at 3:49 pm
hmm, looks dynamic, but bit too much of prints, no?
July 21, 2009 at 4:15 pm

She looks so cool. Love those clubmasters!
July 22, 2009 at 5:34 pm
suupeeeer cool outfit!
I really like the mix of styles- preppie, goth, hippie, high fashion. very nice.
also that she has a knack for making a casual outfit look chic. I love seeing dressy looks, heels, etc. but can't imagine walking around all day in the city like that. Young people, students, seem to be less self-conscious and don't mind being casual.
July 22, 2009 at 5:41 pm
she looks hippie-ish to me. it's all a little twee, and makes her look younger than her age.
July 22, 2009 at 9:52 pm
I can't decided which is my faouvrite- her beaded vest, the quirky T-shirt or her awesome bag…
July 23, 2009 at 1:37 am
So effortlessly chic! I almost want to change her hair but this is so darling.
July 23, 2009 at 1:43 am

The new "Don't Miss the Marc" collection! She t-shirt is so cute, and I love how she made it her own with some amazing accessories.
July 23, 2009 at 10:49 am
I love the mixture of super luxe with super casual. I'm going to keep that in mind when dressing for a casual day.
July 23, 2009 at 1:46 pm
Ooh, such a thin girl. But her outfit is truly something!
July 24, 2009 at 4:21 am

July 28, 2009 at 7:52 pm
love her bag, nails, phone, style and attitude.her hair is very bohemian-hippie-chic
July 29, 2009 at 5:39 pm
Nothing casual about THIS outfit – she obviously has a super-detailed eye and knows what she is doing!I am amazed at how great this all looks together – what a very chic, hot girl!
But then I think – this same outfit on a 145lb 5'2" woman with 'Mom hair' from Lubbock, Texas … would THAT work? Embellishment is a dangerous territory for many. I can see my Grandmother using this photo to justify her penchant for bejeweled sweaters and beaded caftans…
Then again, my Grandmother IS fabulous…
July 29, 2009 at 11:26 pm
